    What is meant by statutory recurring inspection?

    According to the “Arbeitsmittelverordnung” (Austrian Work Equipment Statute), cranes are required to undergo periodic inspections at least once every calendar year, with a maximum interval of 15 months. Kuhn’s workshop experts are officially authorised to conduct these legally mandated inspections.

    Important note: Please be aware that cranes, including those equipped with work baskets for transporting people, must undergo inspection by TÜV Austria every four years. When scheduling the inspection, kindly inform us of the date of the last TÜV inspection.

    When is the factory scheduled maintenance due?

    During crane operation, the components are constantly subjected to heavy loads. To ensure their long-term functionality, regular and proper servicing is of utmost importance. As per the manufacturer’s guidelines, this maintenance should be conducted after every 1,000 hours of operation or once a year.

    This scheduled inspection serves as a preventive measure, allowing the crane to be used for a longer period of time. Its purpose is also to prevent unplanned downtime.
